On Nov. 26, the Bahá’ís of St. John’s will mark the 100th anniversary of the passing of Abdu’l-Bahá – a Figure they look toward as the Perfect Model of how to live a good life.
The Bahá’í community invites you to commemorate with us the 100th anniversary of the passing of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá. The event will take place at two locations – the Paul Reynolds Community Centre on Carrick Drive and the Landing at Memorial University – at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26.

In His will, Bahá’u’lláh appointed His oldest son, ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, as the authorized interpreter of His teachings and Head of the Faith. Throughout the East and West, he became known as an ambassador of peace, an exemplary human being, and the leading exponent of a new Faith. He has a special place in the hearts of all Bahá’ís.
Our guests can attend one of the in-person gatherings or join us via Zoom for a live webcast. After you have filled out the registration form, we can email you the Zoom link and password. Please do not post this link to social media or share it with anyone you don’t know.
